SKU-1732

Near the southwest corner of the church stands the largest and oldest wooden bell tower in our country, which was built around 1640 at the request of the Bethlen family. Its makers were Transylvanian carpenters, as evidenced by the fact that the structural form, appearance and technical execution of the tower bear the marks of a very high level of Transylvanian woodwork. Its base area is 10x10 meters, and its height exceeds 32 meters.
